This skincare tool is called a DermLite. This is the same equipment that is used by dermatologists to more closely inspect a suspicious skin lesion.
I use it during a skin analysis to determine if pigmentation is epidermal or dermal. Knowing where the pigment is within the skin layers suggests treatment options. Sometimes I will look at a lesion and will recommend the client see her dermatologist or primary care physician for further analysis. I have had clients tell me later that the lesion I was looking at was cancerous and was treated/removed by the doctor. I also use the DermLite to determine if I am able to treat a lesion or if the client needs to see a doctor.
This is a treatment I always use before using my Skin Classic Machine.
The Skin Classic treatment can treat:
- brown spots
- broken capillaries
- sebaceous hyperplasia
- clogged pores
- acne
- blackheads
- milia
- red spots
- keratosis
- skin tags
